Shipping and Return Policies
General Shipping Information
By ordering from Materia Collective and the Materia Store, you are bound by these shipping terms, unless prohibited or voided.
Our COVID restrictions and lockdowns are still in place. We are working diligently to ship your orders as quickly as possible. Please allow up to 2 weeks of processing time, regardless of your shipping preference.
Some our items are pre-orders. We do our best to predict exact shipping dates and stick to timelines as closely as possible, but production timelines can change. Keep an eye on our Production Updates page for our current production timelines.
Materia ships from Washington state, USA.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes like VAT, import fees, and any other fees that are outside Materia's control. No refunds will be provided for rejected, unpaid, or abandoned mail due to unpaid fees.
Mail carriers in the US require that addresses are romanized, and we cannot fulfill orders that are not romanized. If you are shipping an order to a destination outside the US (such as, but not limited to, Japan or China), please ensure your address is formatted correctly.
United Kingdom / Brexit Notice
Until further notice, Materia Store is not able to accept orders from UK customers, or ship orders to UK territories. Brexit has demanded compliances and requirements that we are not able to accommodate at this time. We are very sorry.
Shipments and orders to other countries remain unaffected.
Existing orders from UK customers will be shipped as soon as is possible, but please expect additional delays. Inquiries and concerns may be submitted to 10 Downing Street.
Orders with Multiple Items
We ship products together to keep everyone's shipping costs down. This means that products in-stock may be delayed if ordered together with pre-orders.
If you'd like us to ship items separately, please email us at email@example.com, and we can see if this is possible. We may need to charge an additional fee to cover additional shipping costs.
Products ship from Washington, USA. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing and packaging, and up to 14 days for shipping and delivery. International orders may take longer to clear customs.
If we are not able to validate your shipping address, we will email you and hold your order until we receive confirmation.
All sales of all products and pre-orders are final, non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable.
Pricing and availability of items and products may change without notice. We reserve the right at any time and without notice to update production information and to correct and/or remove product-related errors, inaccuracies, and omissions.
Change of Address
Moving? You may request a change of address provided your order has not already been processed and shipped. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org using the email you used to place your order. Materia is not responsible for packages shipped to an old address.
Undeliverable, Unclaimed, or Returned Orders
We will notify you via email if your order is returned as undeliverable or unclaimed. This can happen if there are unpaid import fees, or invalid or improperly-formatted address, or any other circumstance outside Materia's control. Returned orders will be returned to our inventory.
Your total cost for the purchase of any product includes shipping charges. For processed, shipped, and returned products, these fees are paid for, and cannot be refunded to you if your ordered item(s) are returned for a refund, or are undeliverable.
Refunds and Replacements
If you receive any product that's defective, or was damaged during transit, we are happy to replace it free of charge within 30 days of delivery.
Minor aesthetic defects is not covered by this policy. We will try to accommodate replacements, or partial replacements, as possible.
